about the AOMC
Founded in 2019 by a group of Ontario health care professionals, the AOMC is the only organization currently representing the interests of Canadian healthcare professionals who wish to advance, integrate and practice Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy within their health fields.
The AOMC is passionate about educating, training and certifying Allied Health-Care Professionals within Canada in order to expand the ever growing field of Orofacial Myology, and generate countrywide awareness of Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders and their prevention and treatment within our communities, our provinces and Nation-Wide.
OUR MISSION
The AOMC is committed to fostering awareness of Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) within the general public as well as within healthcare fields, promoting integrative and collaborative care. It seeks to educate, train and certify members in assessing, diagnosing and treating OMDs while expanding and promoting the field of Orofacial Myology throughout Canada.
